Sprint 42 Release Notes 11-04-2019

This document describes enhancements and corrections for School LINQ.

 

System

Log In

  • NEW! The last Unit ID used to log in will be saved, allowing users to only enter their username and password when logging in.

Navigation Bar

  • The state of the Navigation Menu (pinned or not pinned) when the user logs out is the state that the menu will be when the user logs back in.

Fund Management

Manage Accounts

Reports: Budget Analysis

  • Assets and Liabilities no longer appear on the Budget Analysis Report.
  • The Grand Total field on the report is now subtracting Revenue from Expenses instead of adding.

Purchasing

Manage Purchase Orders

  • NEW! If the account(s) being used on the PO are over budget, or will be over budget as a result of the PO, an Over Budget warning message will display on save.
    • The warning message will list the accounts in question and display the over budget lines in red.
    • An exclamation indicator will display on the PO to indicate that the PO can over budget lines.

Cash Management

Reports: Bank Reconciliation

  • NEW! A Recon Summary option has been added to allow users to reprint the summary report that generates when processing a bank recon.

Payroll

Manage Employees

Manage Employees: Demographics Tab

  • NEW! A warning message will now appear if the employee Termination Date is before the End Date on any of their jobs.

warning: employee has been terminated but still has at least one active job

  • When a terminated employee is changed to Active, and the record is saved, the Term Date and Term Reason fields are cleared.
    • Changes are still tracked in the Audit History.
    • The Term Date and Term Reason fields will not appear on the ORBIT file.

Manage Timesheets

  • NEW! Users can now filter timesheets by Timesheet Approval Group using the Timesheet Approval Group dropdown.
    • The Timesheet Approval Group dropdown only contains the Timesheet Approval Groups that the user has access to.
